Doctors report weighing patients just before and after they die and attribute the weight loss to the soul body leaving the physical body upon death..
Yes, actually this goes way back to 1901 when Dr. Duncan MacDougall reported that he’d been able to weigh six dying patients and that he’d calculated the average weight of a soul to be 21 grams. ALSO, In March 1907, the MacDougall experiments were published. There were articles in the Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research, the journal of American Medicine, and the New York Times.

I have been researching this off and on and I cannot find scientific evidence that is acceptable to cite. Unfortunately, I still find that there is no conclusive evidence as yet. Science may not accept claims that cannot be replicated.

Thanks for the historical information Eric. Science has not yet proved that Jesus existed either; yet here we are still talking about him over 2000 years later.
Science is not the problem. Its just a tool. The main problem is the EGOs and I don’t mean the Eldorado Gold Corporation. 🙂 We are free to believe in God and souls and Jesus… so far.

Interesting thoughts. I remember reading that in Dan Brown’s book but didn’t really take a whole lot of notice.
Yes, Dan Brown makes the claim apparently; I cannot agree (see above reply to ghostbusterbev)
