Time Reborn, subtitled From the Crisis in Physics to the Future of the Universe,
is a 2013 book by theoretical physicist Lee Smolin
Smolin’s idea is a rebirth of what physicists regard as heresy. He presents that physicists improperly rejected the reality of time because they their mathematical models which are timeless deal in abstractions that do not exist from one moment into the next and the next.

Smolin’s views are so far a long shot that I probably won’t read the book. I may look into it some more; but I am likely to await looking first at more review from physicists.
