Jesus was once asked when the kingdom of God would come. When I read what he said, I realized that the kingdom of God is not something people will be able to see and point to.
Jesus said some striking words regarding the coming of the kingdom.
.
“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.“
(Luke 17:21 KJV)
.
An absolute; ultimate truth is that a treasure lies within each of us. We are made to need each other as though we are pieces of the kingdom come puzzle.
.
“Today, in the first decade of the 21st century, science and spirituality have potential to be closer than ever… May each of us, as a member of the human family, respond to the moral obligation to make this collaboration possible. This is my heart felt plea.”
~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Hi, there Eric. Have to say this you tube is interesting. Thank you.. How do you find such a grateful following? – I have difficulties in attracting people to read my blog.. Do you have a secret to share about your success, or just some homegrown advice?
eve xx
Hi Eric – I love this post. The Kingdom is Within – wow – that is reassuring for us who embody this Knowing and likely a little scary for those who don’t quite get it or is not “there” yet in their journey. Thank you for this beautiful message, Kim
Love this post, Eric. We don’t need to look outside ourselves; all that is needed is located inside and is pure love.
“We don’t need to look outside ourselves; all that is needed is located inside and is pure love.”
Often in Christian prayer, worship, in praise and song, it seems for many that there is only an external God. While God is greater than I, the internal Holy Spirit dwells within me. In our scripture, in John 1:12-13, we are taught: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” see also other translations: http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/book.php?book=John&chapter=1&verse=12
Christians learn that God is both transcendent (eternal and infinite — wholly independent and removed from the material universe) and immanent (involved in the world with great interest of attention to human affairs). By my religious training with mentors, I began to pursue pneumatology (a study of spirituality of what I know as Holy Spirit and spirit phenomena), specifically, spiritual aspects of humans that have personal relationship and interaction with God; a study of Holy Spirit.
Christian’s may generally pursue a level of higher teachings and experience if they choose in their hearts to accept with humility and spiritual gifts, prophecy, and the indwelling of the Holy Trinity — for the service of humankind and sanctification. In doing so, there are tremendously holy experiences and miraculous turns of healing that may certainly occur.
I am in study with a few others. I make commitments to be – evolved into – a loving person. I admit this is difficult. In fact, much of the reason for my blogging is really for me. I need to write about the progressiveness and reinforce the techniques that are new to me. I am just an average man in my body. Spirit brings into me great compassion.
Interestingly, and unexpectedly, I find here at WordPress that having friends that practice somewhat different religious beliefs is a wonderful blessing for me. I didn’t even have any expectation of this when I plopped my blog name down here. I had two blogs at my former host site and I had felt compelled to keep my scientific interests and interests of other spiritual practices separate from my Christian blog; in two different blogs. There were a few followers that joined both blogs, but I didn’t enjoy nor yet know how to create the freedom of expression there that I enjoy here.
Thank you for visiting me Michele. I really enjoy blogging with you.
Blessings.

Thank you Eric, I too, enjoy blogging with you 🙂
Wow. This could get deep quickly…hahaha! My one thought, as a believer in Christ and in scripture as the inspired word of the living God, Jehovah- is that Watchman Nee is the best I have read on biblically breaking down body, soul, and spirit.
I do have something to throw out here, that is a quote from Oswald Chambers that years ago I read, and it took me a few days to wrap my brain around it, but now I live by it and fully believe ( with the backing of scripture) it.
” The Holy Spirit is the ONLY lover of Christ “——wait for it…………..lol…..
He was explaining how every believer in Christ receives the Holy Spirit when they receive Christ. He went on to point out that in our own flesh, and sinful nature, we are incapable of loving anyone but ourselves. We have to make daily choices to FEED either the Holy Spirit in us , or FEED the flesh./soul.
We can get as emotional as we want in church and cry and dance etc…but without the Spirit of God in us, worshipping our Christ, it is just that, emotions.
Much much more to it, but the one quote by Chambers is the key. It may take a bit, but it is biblical, and it rings true in everyday life…..

I did read some work from both of the authors.
By the Holy Spirit, according to my experience and my opinion, is the only humanly possible way to even understand reality of God’s grace. As you say, “We have to make daily choices…”
Thanks Tj
Blessings…

I’m doing a little experiment that should end in (I think) July, but the numbers are showing that people are attracted to negativity more than the positive website. I’ve noticed that my facebook has gone that way too, although I really don’t comment or post there anymore, mainly because my family and friends have gone the way of just browsing. I have a theory on this but have also come to the conclusion that it really doesn’t matter. In the end, true colors will show.
I would love to learn more about this. I liked your idea to get water out to the West. You closed the comments on that post, so I reblogged it anyway. Its good that you are finding some service and research interests.
Keep posting what’s up.
Blessings.
