Global Consciousness
There is a parapsychology experiment that begun in 1998. The Global Consciousness project uses technology to detect possible interactions of “global consciousness” with physical systems.
The project monitors a geographically distributed network of hardware random number generators to identify anomalous outputs that correspond with widespread emotional responses to world events, or periods of focused attention by large numbers of people.
.
Program Description
Random number generators created by scientists and positioned all over the world are impacted by the state of human thought.
Human suffering in the neural cortex and synaptic response electrical discharges in our brain controlling our very thoughts and emotions… ripple like a stone tossed into a lake, rupturing the predictability of the balance of nature as we know it… plucking a guitar string on the fabric of our reality.
The Global Consciousness project originated at Princeton;

By the way, the chances of all of the events that are cited having a significant positive impact outcome are next to no chance at all… impossible.
.
.
It is good, I think, to be viewed with skepticism by many scientists, but in recent years global consciousness has become a genuine article for research in neuroscience and there is progress as noted in developing a spiritual science of consciousness.

I may have commented on a similar post by you but there is no such thing as a random number generator. A computer follows instructions, it can only do what it is told. It has to generate a number from either data input into the system or from a mathematical algorithm, neither of which will be truly random. “Random” number generators are random in the sense that the weather is random. It isn’t random at all, but we call it random because our ability to predict it beyond a certain point is limited so it seems random.
Yes, I did mention the same data before this… the last time I mentioned use of “random number generators” you did tell me about that they can’t be random. However, I referred you to the research investigations. The data was reviewed by a third party unrelated to the findings. The outcome reports are reliable.
Comparing the randomness to weather isn’t possible, I think.
Thanks.

The fact that somebody agrees with someone else’s findings/views means nothing. And the fact is computers are by definition non-random. They’re not capable of being random, only simulating randomness by hiding the non-random mechanism in computer code that is not visible to the user.
The events are many and the collectors are many and even by the film, we can understand that the events correlate to the data recordings. The report is not something that I want to debate. I accept that there is more to learn. However, I also accept from this and many other reports that there probably is more to how consciousness occurs than what goes on inside of the brain-body. If you don’t, that would be fine with me. Unless you have some hard evidence to present, I’m okay with my post as is.
Thanks.

There being more to know or things we don’t understand does not give credence to any particular idea about consciousness, and this sort of research is probably subject to the hindsight bias:

If they could tell a big catastrophy had happened and where before the news or other data recording devices reported it, like say an earthquake, then that would be good evidence. But connecting the dots afterward is rife with logical problems.
Very interesting Eric!
A world of which every living entity shares a part, and yet about which we know significantly little…
Until the groundbreaking work of a pioneer Japanese researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto, whose astonishing discovery about water, documented photographically, changed most of what we didn’t know and led to a new consciousness of Earth’s most precious resource. “The messages from water are telling us to look inside ourselves.”
Interview with Dr. Masaru Emoto:
Words in water:
The power of words is not a myth my friends. Words are ‘things’ that get into your upholstery, fabric, clothes… and eventually into You. We have discovered a way to ‘measure’ the power of WORDS which are sound vibrations that ‘effect’ and ‘influence’ Us Frequency-Beings.
Some words have an ‘intention’ (aka – the spell) attached to kill us on a Cellular level e.g. die, dye, aging, old, retirement, death, sick, bill ‘b-ill’, cancer, hate, idiot, ignore… and so on. We don’t ask for You to believe this evidence.. We ask that you do the experiment.
Choose your Words Well and You WILL Create much Beauty…
Inwards and Outwards!
