The practice of living consciously is the first pillar of self-esteem.
.
.
Look at the area where your life is working least satisfactorily. Self-esteem may increase in direct correlation to professionalism. That is, your ability to represent yourself appropriately, perform on the job and be a person with whom others can relate, is an indication of success in whatever you choose to do.
Upon honest self-examination, notice that you tend to be more conscious in some areas of our life than in others. According to Nathaniel Brandon, author of The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem, “What determines the level of self-esteem is what the individual does.”
Branden continues by saying: “A ‘practice’ implies a discipline of acting in a certain way over and over again—consistently. It is not action by fits and starts, or even an appropriate response to a crisis. Rather, it is a way of operating day by day, in big issues and small, a way of behaving that is also a way of being.”
For improving self, try using a sentence stem like “Living consciously to me means…” and create 6-10 completions of that sentence.
The most widely accepted definition is that ofNathaniel Branden, who defines healthy self-esteem as “the disposition to experience oneself as competent to cope with life’s challenges and being worthy of happiness.” (1994) This definition implies not only being worthy of respect, but also as having the basic skills and competencies required to be successful in life. Studies show that people with low self-esteem have more poorly defined self-concepts (Baumeister, 1993). Also, we must like, respect, and love ourselves before we can maintain loving kindness for others or respect for property.

Branden introduces the six pillars — six action-based practices for daily living — providing a foundation for self-esteem and explores the central importance of self-esteem in the five areas of the workplace, parenting, education, psychotherapy, and the culture at large.

No one may be successful if bypassing their basic needs for self-esteem. The ego is not a thing to fight against. It is not even available for debate. The ego is a sense of needs that we may mistakenly believe is the self. However, by opening to greater self-awareness, we come to understand that the ego is just a function of temporary needs messages. I hope that this program and the related links are helpful. I know I attain growth by reviewing of these basic life skills.

“Resist not evil” is one of Jesus’ greatest teachings.
Genuine acceptance of this teaching to balance our global consciousness requires evolving a consciousness of a fairly large representation of humans — that each selects to practice the compassion necessary to love in spite of negativity. We commit to acceptance of any negativity, inside and out, to turn this over to love — in other words we begin to do our best to be unconditionally compassionate and loving — actually caring as best we can to be our best and see the ego no longer as at all attractive and capable. God’s will we know is love… and in practice, by surrender, we do our best to be love too. Each of us that arrives in the higher vibrations of love is feeding dozens… and so, the kingdom of God begins in one heart and God’s light shines forth to give His strength to others.
If you have some time, just contemplate God’s love. Just take a few minutes and allow His love to shine from your heart. Take that inner peace to school, to work, and back home with you. Watch what happens as this is a practice over time, in a week, a month, and in a year. If we allow Him, the kingdom of God is manifest through our loving hearts.
This is a voyage into achieving everything you want without making a single request for yourself. This is a process. Begin today with this focal video — each time you breath in you breath in the colossal power of the universe. Each time you breath out, let go of all that may be harmful. Realize you are the potential for love, laughter and joy. Breath in and feel this potential growing in you. Breath out and feel the release of the past and wounds. Click on the image to visit my ripple-ing page… make giving loving kindness a practice, daily.
The quantum consciousness hypothesis proposes that quantum entanglement and superposition may play an important part in brain function. Quantum consciousness is the basis of an explanation of consciousness. This subject is one that must undergo skeptical review by peers over time. As science emerges to bring about some understanding of consciousness, there will be eventuality opportunities to bring the past into alignment with the future; I believe.

Sir Roger Penrose
Quantum Consciousness Theorist — Co-creator of the Orch OR model of the quantum nature of consciousness and memory.http://GF2045.com/speakers/
Knighted in 1994 for his contributions to science, Sir Roger Penrose OM FRS, is an English mathematical physicist, mathematician and philosopher.
The extraordinary scope of his work ranges from quantum physics and theories of human consciousness to relativity theory and observations on the structure of the universe. Penrose is internationally renowned for his scientific work in mathematical physics, in particular for his contributions to general relativity and cosmology. His primary interest is in a field of geometry called tesselation, the covering of surfaces with tiles of different shapes.
Among numerous prizes and awards, he received the 1988 Wolf Prize for physics, which he shared with Stephen Hawking for their contribution to our understanding of the universe.
He is the Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford, as well as an Emeritus Fellow of Wadham College.
“There is a current view that consciousness is something which arises from some complicated computation. So we have our computers, and people think that because they can do things amazingly fast, and they can calculate very quickly, and they can play chess extremely well, that they are superior to us even, and it is only some complicated aspect of this computational activity that somehow consciousness arises from that. Now my view is quite different from this. I think there is a lot of computational activity going on in the brain, but this is basically unconscious. So consciousness seems to me to be something quite different.”

This post is possibly the most controversial ever I created… I didn’t have any idea it would gnerate comments even at all.
I had posted on the topic of recording thoughts in frozen water crystals in the past but this one really caught greater attention.
Masaru Emoto is a Japanese author and entrepreneur, who claims that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. Emoto has been finding through studying human emotions and their impact on the universe via various experiments that every aspect of who and what we are, including our emotions, has a significant impact on the environment. Simply “being” individuals, we are creating an impact in our environment.
In 1994, Emoto began to perform experimental procedures to interact with frozen water crystals. Emoto spoke to water, sang to it, and even presented water with pictures. The water responded. The crystals that formed during positive interactions were incredibly beautiful. Emote believe that he is showing that kinship between the observer and the observed is quite literally what makes the world as it is. He is increasingly working towards a better understanding that emotions people have, whether good or bad, affect not only the immediate environment but the larger world as well.
This time I collected some new evidence on water memory and I have a few more video selections to put into the comments section. If you have an interest, this is a pretty good collection of caes that demonstrate “water memory” is ever closer to scientific understanding.
.
.
Program Description The Aerospace Institute in Stuttgart has discovered a relatively easy way to show how drops of water are greatly modified by the people making the drops and by the different kinds of flowers placed in the water, prior to making drops.
The statement that “Water has memory” practically changes our whole way of looking at the world. Water flowing down a river may be picking up information everywhere it goes – so that water has more information at the mouth of the river than it does at the source. The oceans could be less of something that separate us than a vast storehouse of information, which bind us together.
In 2004, when Japanese author, Masaru Emoto released his first of several bestselling books on this theme, ‘The Hidden Messages in Water,’ he was derided as a “peddler of pseudoscience.”
These new studies may open up a greater understanding of the interplay between consciousness and water.

I’ve gotten into a few series of topics here. For instance, before this post, I’ve demonstrate how spirituality is an essential ingredient for adult humans. in scientific research and by various spiritual authors. Some posts are religions but many are not.
This post begins a study of contemplative practices. While this area of blogging isn’t untried, even with some success, I want to order the study in a way that presents Christian meditation and contemplative practices in perspective of a global consciousness.
Many of my regular readers know that I am Christian and I’m a monotheistic believer. However, what I didn’t much present before this is that I believe that every person is an essential mind; an idea that is an aspect of all that is.
My posts in this contemplative practices series will focus on how we may each be contributing to global consciousness, even in spite of any resistance. Global conscious, I think is the pulse of our times as it occurs in space-time.
Now, I happen to think that benefits globally do occur because this is God’s will. I write about it and as more people choose a serenity path for themselves to transcend our world chaotic consequence of separate self-sense, more people are centering themselves in moments of inner peace, and the outcome is seemingly of itself folding out from a shift of global consciousness.
However, really, I am sure that this is because more are coming to understand the messages of the Holy Spirit. The messages, surrender to God’s will; participate in being love; ask God in prayer to be doing His will; be peaceful and compassionate; are all the same message. This is how (I think) that divine knowledge reveals itself in global consciousness. Any divine knowledge is all divine knowledge.
In our human form, here in bodies, we typically may look at some point along the way, usually as adults, to transform from ego-centrist creatures to a higher way of relating and being.
I began an Integral Life… here are some highlight of the Integral Life… from Father Thomas Keating and Ken Wilber.
So, let’s begin looking at the responsibility to self to transcend the ego and discover, each of us, a genuine personal and transcendental purpose (these videos are high quality despite the image that may display before you begin one). Each to their own path:
Spiritual, But Not Religious?

If you can’t watch the entire program FF to 12:30 to see the important end to this program. .
Program Description Father Thomas Keating, considered one of the great contemplatives of our time, has spent a lifetime in the practice of Christianity, seeking and sharing its depths. The goal of the tradition, suggests Fr. Thomas in this week’s video, is transformation — but transformation into what? In this video, Keating presents us with that an answer depends on what stage of development we are at.
.
Tomorrow’s Spirituality
.
If you can’t watch the entire program FF to 6:00 to learn about the “stages” concept in this program. .
Program Description A Cistercian monk from St. Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass, Colorado, Father Thomas Keaton has spent a lifetime in deep Christian practice, and in sharing the fruits of this contemplation with countless others. We were enormously blessed to host a dialogue with Fr. Thomas Keaton and Ken Wilber in April of 2006. In this video, Ken discusses some of the foundational concepts of Integral spirituality.
.
Ken Wilber is the founder of Integral Institute and the co-founder of Integral Life. Father Thomas Keaton is a founding member and the spiritual guide of Contemplative Outreach, LTD and founding member of the Spirituality branch of Integral Institute.
Integral Life… “No one is 100% wrong.” – Ken Wilber
If ordinary people don’t perceive that our grand ideas are working in their lives then they can’t develop the higher level of consciousness, to use a term that American philosopher Ken Wilber wrote a whole book about. He said, you know, the problem is the world needs to be more integrated, but it requires a consciousness that’s way up here, and an ability to see beyond the differences among us.
-President Bill Clinton
.
People who live integrally are animated by pursuit of a deep purpose, knowledge and sophistication in their personal and professional lives. They demonstrate a capacity for self-awareness, perspective-taking, a diversity of interests, and a commitment to lifelong development. Integral awareness allows people to expand and deepen the experience of every moment, to make sense of the world, to include everything they are while leaving nothing out, and to wake up to the unifying truths that lie at the core of all human experience. Integral Life commits to helping its members live totally free in their immense diversity while embracing the full richness of the human experience in themselves and others. In short, Integral Life community members are leaders committed to extraordinary living.

I awoke this morning to the birds singing
I went outside, there was a sense of well being The air was so fresh, a calm breeze blew across my face
It was so quiet, as if everyone was sleeping
I found peace and joy in my heart As if the world had stopped just for a moment
The longing in my heart to draw near to You I closed my eyes and pictured You in my head
The flowers in the garden began to bloom
The trees filled with the shiniest fruit The grass grew seven shades greener
The grape vines that never produce were full
A rainbow had criss-crossed another rainbow across the sky It was most beautiful
A stream came rushing through my feet Fish with wings jumping over me
The sky a shade of blue I had never seen before
A Man in white came walking towards me with a gleam in his eye I have never seen Your face, but I knew it was You
Lord please don’t make me leave this place
He spoke to my heart with a smile on His face I realized there was still more to be saved With a tear in my eye, I smiled
He knew my love for Him Keeping all in my heart of that day I will seek all that You lead me to

We are to practice seeing this.
I think that Heaven dawns as consciousness joins God, a place where He is all at once all that is… in a moment that is forever… a place that is like no-place; a truly God place; a place where we love wonderfully satisfyingly, deliciously; and where finally all knowing is all known by all beings in God. I believe, God is Heaven. I do.

For those who may not be familiar with the word tahtonka, it is Lakota for Buffalo or Bison.
The first time that I heard the word, was when it was used in the movie Dances with Wolves, then a few years later, I studied the Lakota people at CSUN.
But the word did not truly reach its full meaning until seeing first hand, the ancestral importance it held for the Lakota people in South Dakota.
For hundreds of years, before the invasion of their homelands, the Buffalo/Bison had been the central part of their Culture.
December was self-improvement month at my blog. I featured lots of content to improve the inner and outer us — 🙂 —

Continue practicing until you see yourself in the cruelest person on Earth, in the child starving, in the political prisoner. Practice until you recognize yourself in everyone in the supermarket, on the street corner, in a concentration camp, on a leaf, in a dewdrop. Meditate until you see yourself in a speck of dust in a distant galaxy. See and listen with the whole of your being.
If you are fully present, the rain of Dharma will water the deepest seeds in your consciousness, and tomorrow, while you are washing the dishes or looking at the blue sky, that seed will spring forth, and love and understanding will appear as a beautiful flower.

Consciousness poses a most baffling problem in science of the mind. Oh well, I move onward — here is how… loving thoughts bring, with loving energy, loving feelings and loving emotion. It isn’t science. It works though.
My purpose for blogging is to: write, share, enjoy, grow, and transform. Each visitor that I get to know contributes and thus, changes this experience with me. You are all as important to the experience as are the entire collection of my work and play here.
Its a discovery process.
We may each send out Ripples of Blessings, Ripples of Social Justice, Ripples of Goodness, Ripples of Peace, and Ripples of Loving-Kindness — sending these past any barriers and over or around any boundaries to merge with the ripples of other waves of other positive ripples.
Let’s contemplate… watch this:
.
Program Description
Drop a pebble in a still pond and watch the ripple travel out on an ever expanding wave ring.
This video, The Ripple Effect is rooted in the belief that we are all connected by our shared Humanity. Two well known principles of physics are Wave Theory and Entrainment. Wave Theory: a wave will continue to travel out, never changing its initial shape or frequency and when two waves intersect each other, the height of the effect is the sum of the heights of the two individual waves. Entrainment: the tendency for two vibrating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony.
The Goal of Humanity Healing™ is to make a lasting difference for positive change by supporting Humanitarian efforts that create sustainable solutions for the World’s problems — through a multifaceted approach of organizing Good Works, Education and Promoting Spiritual growth; mutual respect and understanding.
The Pond is the World
Your Heart is the Pebble
Drop a pebble of positive intention into the still pond and watch patiently the ripple travel out in an ever expanding ring.

My work is to love God with all that I can muster and to reflect love. Its my responsibility to want this. I like to keep this simple when I can. So, I’ll outline my process just a bit.
I refer to my early training — here is an example:
Romans 13:8–10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
It is simple; a huge challenge as well. By my understanding, God is divine pure love. Jesus provided ample examples of this.
Here is another simple thing I do.
I needn’t be concerned with what others choose to believe — if there may be a suitable exception, it will be quite rare. As I become more accepting, I tend not to attract much resistance to me being genuine.
Progress in practice of love is simple too — the divine nature of consciousness that is inclusive of positive events and positive others is accepting of all else too. I’m not explaining God though. God needn’t be explained. We simply ought to seek to be love as best we may by the best examples and by daily spiritual commitment to further growth. This means daily to accept what is — even if, sometimes, at first, this is unacceptable. We are not in a position of authority over the happenings and the people.
I do my best to focus on what is mine to influence or to change and to leave the rest be as is. Most of what is happening is beyond my influence and control. So, this is simple — but — not easy.
For example, from a human perspective, I’ll clarify that this is simple for me to understand — whatever austere theology or rigid scientific view may level at me, and whatever negative pronouncement may come my way, and whatever may seem abhorrent at first; these all too contribute toward opportunities for my positive growth. Come what may, my reactive discomfort is of my making whenever I disconnect myself consciously or accidentally from loving grace. Of course, also though, I am limited by general health, functional ability and wellness of my body and mind.
The last thing that I need to describe is also simple. I am to stay on task. This occurs when I can be at peace — inner peace. Its simple, but this is where I put in the greatest effort because its tricky in that the variety of experiences and the practices of others may become a distraction. I am to be responsible to live up to my end of the arrangement. This requires simple self-assessment tools to stay on task.
Now, I still am learning about making and keeping accurate self-assessments. That is a process. It requires daily activity and inner peace and some action. I have some guidelines that I use. For example, I perform activities such as follow.
What do I want (assessment)?
Physical: body awareness, dissolve body tension, smooth unstable energy highs and lows, smooth stress-related disturbances, resolve homeostasis issues (blood pressure for instance), improve heart health, reduce or eliminate pains, improve fitness and athletic performance, eliminate toxins, improve health of skin and hair, etc.
Mental: Clear focus on love and of corresponding daily objectives and even long-term goals, improving mental concentration, increasingly able to press pause or reset to soften negativity and self-serving thought patterns, lessening of self-criticism and of judgments of others, awaken to expansive loving compassion, slipping from any limiting beliefs and patterns, etc.
Emotional: Notice feelings and corresponding thoughts. Ride through any resistance to painful emotion. Make plans to clear sadness, anger, fear and hurt from the mind and body.
Spiritual: Increasingly focus on the present moment; deepen invisible connection with infinite loving God-consciousness, allow with detachment to awaken loving intuition. Plan to clear the barriers to loving myself and others — surrender to God-consciousness universal support.
.
What tools are there for facilitation of inner peace and loving being?
Conscious breathing practices may usually bring sharpened awareness and healthful benefits as well
Increase in-the-moment awareness
Meditation (and mindfulness) activities (search my prior presentations), prayer if religious, and productive solitude
Proper rest and exercise
Maintain a positive outlook
Set goals and objectives
Increase spontaneity and appreciating of others
Help others and seek to solve problems (fully)
Brainwave Entertainment: a practice that may cause brainwave frequencies to fall in step with a stimulus of a particular frequency — may be useful for matching corresponding frequency to intended brain-state (for example, perhaps to induce restful and peaceful sleep) — generally attempted by use of specialized music or software. [Investigate this (Google: “brainwave entertainment music free” or “brainwave entertainment software free”) — greatly sharpens awareness over time.]
.
What action is good?
I do my best to put into the world the best of me. I do my best to stick to healthy objectives, sharing, and to be a source for comfort and compassionate empathy. I am imperfect and sometimes needy. Still, I do my best usually.
There are lots of thoughts that pass by and some seem momentarily disturbing, exciting or entertaining or satisfying of a base need — they all may pass by — a life of loving action includes allowing many thoughts just to pass by; knowing the path of my way is to be from the heart.
We may each send out Ripples of Blessings, Ripples of Social Justice, Ripples of Goodness, Ripples of Peace, and Ripples of Loving-Kindness. Language from heart is not exactly English and the translation from heart mind into English is a challenge.
I hope that this post is useful for you or someone that you know. I pray that all will know moments of divine inner peace and that you may join me and others at The Ripple Effect.

The Living Matrix:
………..
A Film on the New Science of Healing
In a scaled down subatomic world, each electron seems to have a guidance system.
Matter is diffuse until we apply measurement. When not observed, electrons lose form.
Oddly, the universe performs like a computer simulation — its only code until you look at it. Each of us has our own similar version of the code — and when we observe the our individual universes, each behave so alike that its a cinch that each is the same universe. Is it really?
.
My faith is big. I know this because I can know that the matrix/hologram universe concepts are a pretty good way to understand how the universe is constructed. For me its a tool — reality works just as God created it to work. Coming to learn more about our abilities to live as God wishes is for me a purpose. What is “the field” exactly?
.
Ask, Seek, Knock (Matthew 7:7-12)
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

In this interview Dr. Dean Radin talks with Merryn Jose about the topics of entanglement, psi phenomena in science, quantum physics and more! Dr. Radin is Laboratory Director at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in California. He worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and GTE Laboratories on telecommunications systems, and for nearly two decades he has conducted research on psychic phenomena in academia and in three Silicon Valley think tanks. At Stanford Research Institute he served as a scientist on a highly classified program investigating psi phenomena for the U.S. government. He is the author of The Conscious Universe and Entangled Minds and has appeared in the movie What The Bleep Do We Know?!- Down The Rabbit Hole Extended Director’s Cut. (Merlian News)
I want to share this additional find with you:
Program Description Jill Price cannot forget anything in her life. This is a 20/20 investigative report about Jill and her condition known as hyperthymesia or highly superior autobiographical memory (HSAM). The gift of a perfect memory remains a scientific mystery.
As I’ve declared on my front page, “In my opinion there is a beginning and an end, but there is uncertainty in between. Its this in between where we find that we have a great need for each other. In the end we are all again one and there nothing is impossible.”
How can information be correlated at a distance without energy transferred between the two points? Do microscopic entanglements “scale up” into our macroscopic world? Is Jill’s memory related to the investigations being discussed by Radin with Merryn Jose (first video)?
Come back often as I seek expert opinions and to figure out these and other mysteries. Would you like to explore a unique perspective about time and consciousness here (because this is pretty wild stuff)?
