Program Description
R. Carlos Nakai is a Native American flutist of Navajo/Ute heritage. He released his first album, Changes, in 1983 and Nakai began collaborating with Peter Kater in 1992. Together they have recorded four albums, Natives, How the West Was Lost, Honorable Sky and Migrations. Peter Kater is a German-born American composer, songwriter-singer and pianist. Mary Youngblood is a Native American flutist musician. Joanne Shenandoah is an Iroquois singer, composer and acoustic guitarist.
