Your WordPress profile can link to a public Gravatar profile and you can control what is publicly displayed and even provide links from your Gravatar profile to your pages at WordPress or elsewhere.

I try to use the Gravatar links from my pages to WordPress users that Like my posts. In many cases (the majority), the Gravatar link is a dead end. If you haven’t been using the Gravatar profiles to provide a link to your WordPress blog, this tip is for you. Even if you already do this, there may be a tip in this post that works for you as well.

You can fill in the basics on your WordPress profile — click to open your public profile. Open https://secure.gravatar.com/site/wpcom/

Add your Name and Details. 

You may add HTML links in your About Me text if desired. I added a link to my WordPress blog using embedded HTML code so that the link can be clicked from my WordPress pages. Its simple enough — just change my hunt4truth to your WordPress blog name and insert the code in your About Me text box as shown here:

Next, choose an image to display and insert your links to blogs or Websites.

Check out your profile and make sure everything is as you like it.

WordPress offers lots of wigdget and custom theme tweaks. It took some time for me to figure them out, but I did make my page quite nicely do what I like with some customization tweaks to The Chateau Theme that I settled upon.

Managing to find personal freedom may require lots deeper awareness, greater acceptance, and refining actions and then again, maybe it isn’t so difficult as all that this implies if all that this implies actually is greater importance than accessing freedom. I agree, I am as free as I believe myself to be free when I am doing God’s will. As God’s children, we are free. That ought be all that we need to know about freedom. Now is my moment of divine freedom, personal freedom to be God’s son.

America has summertime holidays of freedom – Juneteenth commemorates the announcement of African American Slaves freed from slavery; we also celebrate freedom from British rule on the 4th of July. As we look upon these holidays as reminders of our freedom, we should also review what freedom means to each of us today, in terms of physical, spiritual, emotional, financial and spiritual.

Have you assessed how free you are to be yourself? Do you feel restricted in any areas of your life? If so, what areas and where are these so-called restrictions coming from? Do they feel like outside forces crowding in on you or do you feel like it is yourself that limits the freedom you feel in a situation?

Posts I Like: widget

Widgets: Posts I like

Have you learned about using widgets yet? WordPress standard (free) has some widgets that you can use to dress up your blog. I’ve included an advance tutorial here but the Widgets I am using are really easy and I’m highlighting the “Posts I Like” widget today. 

I hope this is useful.

The Widgets interface is located from the dashboard in the Appearance sidebar.

Widgets are independent sections of content that can be placed into any widgetized area that is provided by your blog theme (generally these are sidebars and footers). To populate your sidebars/widget areas with individual widgets, drag and drop the widgets title bars onto a desired area. By default, only the first widget area is expanded. To populate additional widget areas, click on their title bars to expand them.

The Available Widgets section contains all the widgets you can choose from. Once you drag a widget into a sidebar, open it and fill it in with your settings. When you are happy with the widget settings, click the Save button and the widget will go live on your site. If you click Delete, it will remove the widget.

My image is of the “Posts I Like” widget displayed on my sidebar. All I had to do was drag it to the appropriate spot in my sidebar in the Widgets window and then select how many posts I wanted to display — 14 is the maximum (limit). I selected a Grid for my display.

Observed perceptions refine;

I wanted to capture in my poem tenacity for seeking holy wisdom and also how I view the Spirit fading from our hearts all negativity to align finally our accepting of divinity in loving luminosity of His light. For some, especially non-religious, the coming of God’s grace may seem harsh. This is not at all how His coming seems to me. However, my poem reflects the very human healing of this with the struggle intact until that final moment. The image came from a google search gallery.

Aligning Dove Divines

.

Observed perceptions refine;
receive aligning pliancies,
Holy Spirit doth divine,
etiolates errant audacities.

Truth doth Holiness ignite
communion knowing love;
fruits of spirit recite,
His ascendance above.

Expansive flows His reign;
consuming compassion;
elucidating hearts sane
His mercy seat fashion.

Hath thine heart love
of His Holy Grace forms;
Spirit, soars His Dove
dost illumine beasts lorn.

I wanted to capture in my poem tenacity for seeking holy wisdom and also how I view the Spirit fading from our hearts all negativity to align finally our accepting of divinity in loving luminosity of His light. For some, especially non-religious, the coming of God’s grace may seem harsh. This is not at all how His coming seems to me. However, my poem reflects the very human healing of this with the struggle intact until that final moment.
