It truly is amazing how some people have amazing traits that make up their personality. I come from poverty, so most of my life has been viewing people who don’t strive to make their traits known. I have a brother who designed his own electricity generated windmill from scrap but life didn’t afford opportunities for him. Of course, I look at myself and I was originally going to the Art Institute of Chicago when the love of my life died, my senior year. It changed my life. I think back to wondering if I had gone back in time and stepped on that butterfly, what would my life had been like? I mean Mark would be alive but I wouldn’t have my children or seen their successes (my oldest has been on tv since she started culinary school last August and gets to be in a Superbowl Commercial, so I’m glad I didn’t pull her from her college now!) and I probably wouldn’t have the husband who takes care of me after 18 years. But would I have been in the car accident that changed everything? Or met the people I’ve met?
Some say that they hear God when they go to church. I think that my mind loves the idea of hearing God through scientific vibrations. Perhaps in all my experiences, there is a God but it’s through music and art and everyday human experiences that he speaks to me. Or maybe I’m just crazy. I hate being a skeptic at times!
